Finishing ahead of the rest, the SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 is our favorite gaming chair option overall. Our team of testers found this to be one of the most comfortable and adjustable models in our entire product lineup, allowing you to comfortably support the shape of your body and curves of your back in a variety of reclined positions. After this rather firmly padded model breaks in, it offers exceptional long-term comfort. In our review process, we put a lot of focus on comfort, which is the most crucial aspect people think about when it comes to gaming chairs. It played the biggest role in determining the overall score for this model, and our test team carefully examined it in detail. The SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 received mostly positive feedback from our team, earning it impressive scores for comfort overall.
The SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 earned high scores for seat comfort, even with a cushion that trends toward overly firm. However, the Titan Evo seat design is a good balance of pan seat and bucket seat, resulting in a seat design that is supportive for a range of body types, without being overly restrictive, the way more aggressive bucket seat designs can be. While the cushioning might be a little firm for some, our team felt confident, based on years of experience and product testing, that the seat padding would break in and be even more comfortable over time.

Like the seat, the backrest utilizes a relatively firm cushioning, in combination with a good balance of bucket seat versus office chair-like design. It is comfortable, especially with an adjustable lumbar system that elevates and lowers to move the lumbar support to different heights along the curve of your lower spine.

The armrests of the SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 are also very comfortable, threading a needle between firm and soft, for the ultimate sweet spot in softness, while a wide range of adjustments allow any sized person's arms to rest comfortably on them.
Lastly, we calculated the average amount our test team could comfortably sit in the SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022. After compiling all of our notes, collaborating among the test team, and averaging the numbers, we determined that the Titan Evo 2022 provides adequate comfort for up to an eight-hour time slot and is one of the most comfortable options for gamers who plan to spend ample amounts of time in seated in a chair.

Adjustability
Our second major test metric compared the SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 to other gaming chairs, based on all-around adjustability. Our team examined whether the seat depth, backrests, armrests, and reclining positions could be tweaked sufficiently to achieve a comfortable and ergonomic sitting experience. We also evaluated lumbar support, and any other features like neck or head pillows.
The SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 features a seat pan with an adjustable height, although compared to other premium models, it lacks the peak height adjustment for taller or long-legged gamers. The armrests provide substantial adjustability, moving along all planes while also pivoting. This helps lock in the ideal resting position for any shape or size of a person.
The backrest proved to be quite comfortable as well, and knobs on either side adjust a built in lumbar support upwards and downwards in addition to increasing and decreasing the lumbar pressure in and out.
Reaching and adjusting the lumbar support is a little bit awkward, but once done will give you a supportive gaming position.

This model lacks as wide a range of reclining positions where it can be locked compared to other premium models that offer more locking positions along the large range of travel --our team also felt that the tension knob lacked adequate tension for some larger and heavier users. Overall, the SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 is one of the most adjustable chairs our team tested, and is a great option for those with a wide range of use cases and gaming positions.
Reclining this model is simple, and the range should be adequate for most gaming scenarios, and even a quick cat nap.

Setup
The SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 arrives well organized and ready to assemble, requiring about 10 minutes of your time before you can achieve your ideal gaming position and become fully immersed in your gaming experience.
Even if you aren't very mechanically inclined, large diagrams and well-organized parts make assembly easy. We thought the assembly process was streamlined and free from worry.

If you are looking for the best gaming chair, one that offers the greatest level of comfort and large range of adjustability to keep you comfortable during any gaming scenario, then look no further than the SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022. If this gaming chair fits within your budget, you need not look elsewhere, unless you prefer a more aggressive bucket seat styling.
What Other Office Chairs Should You Consider?
The SecretLabs Titan Evo 2022 is one of the most comfortable chairs our team tested overall, but it doesn't offer the same level of lumbar support as the Razer Iskur V2, which some gamers may prefer. It is also a somewhat expensive option, making it a hard sell for gamers with a more modest budget. For more modest budgets, we found the GTRacing Music Series offers a great level of comfort and nearly all the adjustability of the most premium models, it even includes built in speakers. However, If you're on a very tight budget, consider checking out the GTPlayer GT800A Footrest, as it costs significantly less than the most premium chairs we tested and still provides a reasonable level of comfort for most types of gaming.
